Text that says 'ABOUT ME' in bold gold letters on a black background.
  • Born and raised in Liverpool, I am a professionally trained wedding & funeral celebrant, accredited through the Academy of Modern Celebrancy. My work is rooted in contemporary, non-religious ceremony practice offering ceremonies that are personal, inclusive, and shaped around real lives rather than templates.

My background in theatre, education, and storytelling means I am experienced in holding space when emotions are close to the surface, and in helping people find the right words when they feel just out of reach. Whether we are celebrating love or saying goodbye, I bring a calm, grounded presence to every ceremony, taking the time to listen deeply and reflect each story with care, dignity, and clarity.

  • Having built around a whole career around helping people, I have always thrived being able to make a difference. Whether that be through education or theatre.

Having reached a point where the burnout was real in my career, I decided that I had to do SOMETHING to help me out of my funk. I had previously been asked to conduct the ceremonies of two friends, as well as, sadly, reading eulogies at a number of close, personal funerals. There were a lot of signs that this was the world that I needed to be in and when I finally took the leap, my life seemingly became richer and I know that I get to walk away from people getting married or those laying their loved ones to rest knowing I have made a positive impact.

  • My values are really simple and have been instilled in me, by my very working class family, that everybody is equal, there are stories everywhere and everybody has a right to feel loved.

Whether that is remembering, somebody at the end of their life or celebrating the love between two (or more) people.

We are all human, we deserve authencity, compassion and something that is personal to us.

My ceremonies will never be recycled, just as every life is different so is all of the work I do!
